At Good Shepherd, we seek to be a grace-filled community grounded in meaningful worship, genuine connection, and loving service in the Wasilla area.

Here’s what you can expect on a typical Sunday:

A Warm Welcome
You’ll be greeted at the door and are invited to sit wherever you feel comfortable.  Instead of paper bulletins, we follow the service together on projected screens, making it easy to participate even if you’re new.

Thoughtful Worship
Our services follow a liturgical pattern shaped by the Lutheran tradition.  We pray, sing, hear Scripture, listen to a sermon, and celebrate Holy Communion each week.  Worship lasts about an hour, except for our short summer services.

Come As You Are
Dress comfortably and be yourself.  God’s grace meets you exactly as you are.

Children Are Welcome
Kids are an important part of our worshiping community.  We embrace joyful noise and offer a play space for little ones during service.  Service also includes a Children's Sermon each Sunday.

Fellowship After Worship
Join us after service for coffee and conversation.  It’s a relaxed way to meet others and learn more about Good Shepherd.
